Protein.
It is really expensive here. In any forms. Our gym–fever got to this point that I decided to go out and find if there is any of these additional proteins available. Okay it was a bit fancy to buy I admit that but the problem we face here is that Koreans only sell stuff like white bread, chips, candies etc. so it is really hard to eat healthy and fill your protein needs while working out. And since the dorm cafeteria sucks really badly it is either going out eat at some restaurant or buying some ingredients and ”cooking” them at the dorm, which is actually prohibited in the dorm rules.
I happened to found one protein can at the E–Mart near the East gate, but it was the far most expensive one I have ever bought in my life. Still tough it was worth it..
On Friday we had a night which has come to be a norm lately. Korean barbeque, some drinks at some bar near East gate and off to downtown. Our Korean cuisine vocabulary has grown terribly fast. There was this one bar ”Moonlight” having opening party so we checked that out after dinner.

My favorite dish in the campus cafeteria; bultag-chicken.
