The highlight of these days was definitely Joelmir’s birthday on Tuesday. Joelmir is also an exchange student here, but he has been few semester here already. We thought what kind of present should we give to Joelmir and we came out with this awesome idea that everybody records their own birthday wish to Joelmir with own phones and then sends the clip to me. Idea was then to surprise Joelmir at the MG lounge with the video clip that I was supposed to stitch together.

I blew it. I didn’t make in time. The video was edited, but it was still rendering when Joelmir was supposed to enter the MG lounge. Everybody was there, hiding at the balcony when Joelmir came to the lounge with Eden, the mastermind of this idea. Joelmir was surprised a big time, although he had some hunch cos’ Eden played some time to get the video rendered.
