These were definitely the best days here in Keimyung University so far. Although Thursday was a rainy one, we decided to have a steak at downtown since everybody onboard felt great lust to have one. We found this one Outback-restaurant, especially specialized to steaks. After the dorm cafeteria meals the taste of the big steak was divine. We had some time before the 11 PM curfew so after the steaks we headed for some bumpy-car driving in this one game-park..! Wruuuum!

Thursday was chosen as the date to go out to have a steak since there was a full-day field trip on Saturday arranged by Keimyung University. And on Friday we had a little sightseeing tour to Daegu’s nightlife guided by exchange students who have studied here one semester already. The city is unbelievable colorful and so is the nightlife, as the Daegu’s slogan ”Colorful Daegu” states..

It was great to see these ancient sites on the field trip. We got to see the Bulguksa temple (one of the UNESCO world heritages), Daereungwon Tomb complex (the final resting place of kings of the Silla Dynasty) and the Buddha-relics on the Mt. Namsan. University was providing both the lunch and the dinner, so after the busy day we enjoyed a dinner with the International office’s Mr. Cho and Mr. Sangsoo. What a great guys they are!

Henri
