We had this level test of Korean language practice first at the morning. I think I failed that one. Although my Korean skills have improved here in Korea like the Apple’s sales after announcing first ever iPhone, still I can’t understand any of it. If you give me a minute I can read most of it out loud, understand some common phrases like my name wherever it is written down, like below here, but that’s it.

(Henri Olavi Eloranta)

The funniest thing of the day happened when we were on this class ”Family and gender relations in understanding Korean society” with another exchange student Eston from Utah, U.S. The Korean teacher turned to have been visited both of our home universities, the Lappeenranta University of Technology and the Utah State University. And since we were the only western exchange students of the class, she was really interested on our backgrounds, and thus we had a little background chat on and after the class.

There wasn’t any time for me to go and wonder the city for evening, as I really needed my laundry done. As an outcome of the laundry I think I’m going to buy one of these drying racks..

Regards

Henri

EDIT 21.03.2014: Completed my lastname, as I was missing few characters..! At least I’m learning..
