At 9.30 AM the orientation started. Before that we had our very first breakfast at the dormitory cafeteria with Ron. You got to choose between western breakfast and the local one. We took the western one, just to see it through. Okay have to admit there was something against to have rice on breakfast, as the local one did. Rice. Well the western’s bread was purple, and there weren’t really any meat, but we had it done. And got my first milk here on South Korea!

The staff from the International affairs introduced themselves, rolled through few videos, had a little campus tour with this local group leader, had a lunch at the International lounge at New Bauer hall and received this presentation describing the Keimyung’s CCAP (Cross Cultural Awareness Program) and the KCEP (Korean Culture Experience Program). I was really interested on the CCAP, as participating it you could travel local schools and be introducing your home country to the local students. In my case, the Finland.

Handed all the mandatory paperwork to the coordinators, teamed up with the other exchange students and headed to take few beverages.

Regards

Henri
