The bad things in KELI-house I’m living in campus: there’s a curfew on 11 PM (with 5 misses you get thrown out), you aren’t allowed to have any electronic cooking machines in your room (including the coffee machine!!), no own bathroom or neither the toilet, if you want to be away on weekends you have to fill one of these forms like back in the army, you got to have your own toilet paper (!), no warm water from 11 PM to 6 AM, you aren’t allowed to drive a motorcycle or car inside the dormitory, this on we actually saw on one on these papers they handed to us..
We are having this penalty system at the dorm. If you break the rules you receive a penalty point or points depending on the violation you have done. If you get 10 of these penalty points you’re out of the dorm. The Korean students are receiving penalties even if they speak Korean and they’re caught.
Good things in KELI-house I’m living in campus: I’m sharing a room with this one Korean guy so I get to know the Korean culture and the local people and how they do things here, we got a lot of good people here all over the globe, the staff has been good so far, gym is only 50 meters from here, to subway it’s about 700 metres, we even got our own air conditioner in our room..
I knew about this 11 PM curfew, but now that I’m here, it’s the one that takes getting used to it most.
Regards
Henri
